Square Enix and Eidos are teaming up with a joint effort for Deus Ex 3. While this is big news in and of itself, it should also be mentioned that Deus Ex 3 may end up as a PC exclusive!
Square Enix is slated to work on the in-game cinematics for the title, namely focusing on the trailers and introduction cinematic. Square Enix has also expressed an interest to work on Thief 4 after this project is done.
"Deus Ex 3 is going to be the first project which will be a concrete product of joint effort between Square Enix and Eidos," said D'Astous. "The cinematics-by which I mean any CGI pre-rendered cinematics - are going to be done in Tokyo by Square Enix, and that's going to be amazing."
News on Deus Ex 3 itself has been slow over the past few months, with an expect 2009 release date silently sliding out of sight while Eidos continues to work on the title. It has been confirmed that the game is a cyberpunk prequel to the first game though and that it won't be getting a console release due to the complexity of the game.
This is the first "confirmation" of Deus Ex 3 being a PC exclusive that we've seen, so anything is still possible.

Well actually ive been visiting the studios of Eidos last month which have been bought by SquareEnix, and we have visited both teams Deus Ex and Theif 4, and they both said that they were to about half of the developpement process. And that Thief 4 is a little bit in advance of DeusEx
